Postnatal Health

Our Women’s Health GP’s love assisting women in the postnatal period. Whether it’s helping with symptom management, helping with baby sleep and feeding issues, or giving up to date advice and education, they will help you to be as proactive as possible in your postnatal recovery and transition to motherhood. The GP’s have the option to refer in house to one of the other FitRight HQ practitioners, such as Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Lactation Consultants or Psychology/Sexology.

Mastitis

Are you feeling the tell-tale signs of fever and flu symptoms associated with mastitis and wanting advice on getting on to anti-inflammatory or antibiotic treatment?

Our GPs will work with the in-house Lactation Consultants (from Best Start Lactation) and Physiotherapists (who can do therapeutic ultrasound treatment for breast inflammation) to ensure you get prompt and effective treatment for mastitis. Please note - if this is a recurrent problem for you, the GP will suggest a more in-depth follow-up for further investigations and a management plan.
