What is your role at FitRight?

I’m one of the Administration Officers at FitRight, working alongside the team to support patients and staff, and help ensure everything at the
clinic runs smoothly. I really enjoy being one of the first friendly points of contact for patients and assisting with appointment and group exercise class bookings, whether that’s over the phone, through the FitRight website, or when patients are at the clinic. You’ll find me at FitRight HQ Applecross on Fridays.

What has your career looked like so far?

I bring administration experience from medical, legal and financial environments and have had the opportunity to live and work in Perth, New York City and Singapore. I’ve most recently supported a busy multidisciplinary GP clinic, working closely with both patients and clinicians in a range of administrative responsibilities. I’m naturally organised, enjoy paying attention to the little details, and take pride in helping patients feel comfortable, supported and well looked after from their very first interaction.

What do you love about working with FitRight?

What I love most about FitRight is the genuine focus on women's health and patient-centred care. The clinic feels warm and welcoming, and that really comes from the people who work here and the care they bring to their roles each day.

Taryn and Jess have created something really special, and I value being part of a collaborative team that helps provide a calm, reassuring experience for every patient who walks through the door.

What do you like to do in your time off?

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me running around after my kids and cheering them on at their various sports. I enjoy getting stuck into crafty projects, and usually listening to a podcast at every opportunity I can get! I love to travel and enjoy planning trips whenever possible. Spending time with my family and friends is really important to me, and I enjoy keeping life busy but balanced.
