What is your role at FitRight?

My official title is Administration Officer which in layman’s terms means, I assist the patients, physios and doctors to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the practice. I support patients who need to make appointments or book group exercise classes over the phone, through our website or when visiting the practice. You’ll find me at FitRight HQ on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

What has your career looked like so far?

I have always enjoyed working with people so most of my career has been customer orientated. I lived and worked in the UK for many years as the Office Manager for a Telecommunications Network. When we returned to Cape Town, I worked at a Private Psychiatry Practice providing Administrative and Bookkeeping support. When we moved to Perth a few years ago, I worked in an Allied Health Organisation supporting young children and adults with Autism. I am delighted to now be part of the FitRight HQ team.

What do you like to do in your time off?

Being ‘newbies’ to Australia and big fans of outdoor adventures, you’ll find my husband and 2 children SUP’ing or kayaking on the Swan, or having swims, strolls and sundowners at the beach with our rescue dogs which we brought across from Cape Town. We’re food fans too so we’re slowing sampling the amazing restaurants Perth has to offer.
