Dr Sophie Genoni graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery from The University of Notre Dame Fremantle in 2014. She subsequently worked across several hospitals, including Fiona Stanley Hospital, Fremantle Hospital and Rockingham Hospital, before completing extended skills training in women's health at King Edward Memorial Hospital. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2019, whilst also attaining further skills in women's health by completing a Certificate of Women's Health and Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health. Dr Sophie has completed training in IUD and Implanon removal and insertion and can perform minor skin procedures.
 
Since then, Dr Sophie has become an accredited Possums (NDC) Practitioner and is completing training as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, to help provide care to families in the postnatal period. Sophie enjoyed looking after families in the South West for 4 years before recently returning to Perth.
 
Dr Sophie enjoys providing all aspects of women's health, and has a particular interest in helping families navigate early parenting challenges, as well as contraceptive counselling and early antenatal care. She is also passionate about providing preventative care and addressing lifestyle measures that can positively impact health.
 
Outside of work, Dr Sophie enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and cuddling her Labrador. Coffee is almost always involved too.
