What type of patients do you like to treat at FitRight HQ?

I have a special interest in working with women during pregnancy and after birth. It’s a privilege to walk alongside someone during such a transformative chapter of their life, supporting them as they grow, birth, and care for a new human being. I’m passionate about helping women navigate the physical and emotional changes that come with this time, whether that’s managing pelvic girdle pain, perineal trauma, abdominal separation, returning to exercise or breastfeeding-related concerns.

While much of my work centres around perinatal care, I also treat a wide range of pelvic health concerns across the lifespan. Pelvic floor dysfunction doesn’t discriminate, it can affect anyone at any stage of life. I regularly see clients experiencing issues such as prolapse, urinary or bowel incontinence, voiding dysfunction, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, and those preparing for or recovering from pelvic surgeries. My aim is to ensure that every client feels supported, understood, and empowered in their recovery.

What days do you work at FitRight?

You can find me the Applecross clinic on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and West Perth on Mondays and Fridays.

What has your journey as a Physiotherapist looked like so far?

My journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, and later a Master’s Degree in Continence and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. I’ve worked across a variety of clinical settings and continue to be drawn to the deeply personal, often hidden nature of pelvic health concerns. I recognise the vulnerability it takes to seek help for symptoms that can feel distressing or isolating, and I approach each person’s story with compassion and care.

Outside of the clinic, I’m most likely running along the coast, training for my next marathon. I'm also a new dog-mum to the sweetest little Aussie Shepherd, Remi. This little bundle of fur brings me daily joy despite her stealth-like ability to raid my sock drawer.
